Build 1.60.1.70009

Latest
September 24, 2026
First balance changes of the beta

The first balance pass of the beta, put online during the September 24 maintenance, alongside the Cooldown Manager, new gamepad options and a temporary 1 silver respec.

Source: Blizzard's beta development notes (September 24). Change descriptions are summarized in our own words; before/after numbers and the highlighted 'Developers' notes' are from Blizzard's post. Read the original for the full text.

Not yet reflected in our planner data

  • Warrior Protection: Bastion and Focused Rage swap places (rows 5 and 6). Blizzard's notes describe it, but the beta client data we read from does not have it yet, so our planner still shows the old order until a later data pull includes it.
  • Paladin Retribution: Crusade is gone from the tree in the beta client data, but Blizzard's notes do not mention it.

The build the beta opened on

Put online the day before the beta opened, with many changes from the BlizzCon demo: spellbooks go to level 60 with every rank, and several talent trees changed shape.

No official Blizzard post is linked for this build. The talent changes below come from our own record of the September 18 data sync against the BlizzCon demo, not from patch notes.
